The Academy of Design and Innovation in collaboration with ZeeArts Gallery and the Nelson Mandela centre will be hosting a unique event this year to mark the Africa Day with several activities to commemorate African countries, their Designs, arts and cultures.

African art and Culture as we know is very unique as it represents nature in its various forms. The contribution of Africa in visual arts, textiles, fashion, graphic design, jewellery are just brilliant as it has a significant contribution in world history through its unique expression.  Style that comprises traditional forms in sculpture, dance and modern trends like painting and photography. The importance of Africa’s rich visual essence cannot be ignored as it has a worldwide influence.
